Description
Based off one of my current favorite villains in my "Old World" setting. A former Arch-Mage of Light turned to necromancy by the betrayal and murder of his family by his fellow priests. This current image is him as he is when he became the Dark Lord, replacing Nefarius.
I never really liked the idea of "born evil" I always think that the best villains are driven all the way from the top into true darkness. None of my main villains are ever just "evil", it just doesn't make much sense that a person would be evil for the sake of being evil if they had any part of a soul.
Anyway, kind of a reduction paining, took a couple of hours, and I think its a major improvement. (god I love the smudge tool) XD

The problem is painting things in black or white in in this example good or bad is foolish in it self naturally someone can has "Bad" ambitions since he was young or he got into the wrong society this are major influences and a sudden turn around to the other "Dark" side what has he from it? is he evil just to be evil out of revenge ? that's one of the problem i have in many cases being evil is the same as being stupid is see evil different that there is no real evil just personal agendas which other people see them against their own agendas . like maybe he became a Lich to hoard enough power to resurrect his family and punish his former priests. but after that ? no one wants to conquer something without a good reason it would be too much work. and ground traits and goals don't change just because of such tings they only loose on priority and come later again.
