The Nexus

The nexus is the main core of the Tek, a race of machines created by the empire that got a bit out of control. They had several wars but eventually formed a truce and are not close allies.

The Nexus was used in the first wars by an AI named Tek15 (dubbed Tekis) who used it to simultaneously control millions of machines. Now its used as a military coordination system and ruler of the Tek. It no longer controls all machines as new "Tek" are now given randomized personalities to better cope with their "flesh and blood" allies.
